Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslav as an inspirational source for the creation of a set of drawings

Bachelor's work is in theoretical-practical form. The theoretical part provides not only an insight into the history of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslav, but also an emphasis is placed on placing the building in the context of the Baroque age and also an analysis of the church on the architectural side. Also in the theoretical section there is no mention of the Palladium země České, whose history is also devoted to several pages. The practical part presents a visual interpretation of the genius loci of the N.P.M. church, which is projected into a set of drawings.
Statues in Lysa nad Labem castle garden

The subject of interest of this work is the collection of statues ordered by Count František Antonín Špork, placed in 1735 in the castle garden at Lysá nad Labem. This collection is made up of 32 statues and is made up of primarily allegorical subjects (allegories of the Seasons, the Continents, Day and Night, the Elements, and the Twelve months). It is supplemented by Pairs of lionesses, lions, and sphinxes. Originally the collection was attributed to the workshop of M. B. Braun, more recently it has been credited to "Sculptors from Benátky", which is most commonly identified in literature with František Adámek from Benátky nad Jizerou. In the first part of this written work, the person of F. A. Špork will be briefly introduced as the one who commissioned the works of art. Another part of the work deals with the history and the sculptural decoration of the castle gardens. The central and most comprehensive part of the work consists of a detailed description of the collection with links to photographic documentation in an attachment. The work is focused on the formal analysis of the sculptures of the collection, to identify their characteristics and comparison with the works of M. B. Braun. Genius loci and cultural potential: Chateau area Lysa nad Labem

Bachelor thesis contains comprehensive picture of the unique Château in Lysá nad Labem. The first part of the text is dedicated to the construction and historical development on the castle hill from the early Middle Ages up to the present time, its influence on the contemporary form of the Château and also the Château's interiors, which are interpreted in terms of the fine arts in particular, originating from the days when the Château was owned by Šporkové family. Next part of the work depicts the rich history and present of the castle parks, including the sculptural allegory of workshops by Matthias Bernard Braun and Ignác František Platzer, which are precisely discussed in terms of their iconography. In the final part the work uses these knowledges to discuss cultural potential of the place as well as future of whole Château areal. Key words genius loci, cultural potential, Chateau Lysá n. Carlo Innocenzo Carlone and the painting decoration of the Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague

The bachelor thesis deals mainly with the painting decoration of the Clam-Gallas palace in Husova street in Prague, painted by Carlo Innocenzo Carlone. Particular attention is paid to painting on the main staircase, the subject of which is Apollo's triumph. In the introductory chapters, we will learn about the history of the Clam-Gallas Palace and its buyers. In the next part I deal with the description of the building, whose decoration is connected with ancient mythology and which was made by Matyáš Bernard Braun or Santino Bossi. The main work is the iconological and iconographic analysis of the paintings by Carl Innocenzo Carlone and their inclusion in the wider European context.

Bon Repos and baroque monuments in surroundings Lysá nad Labem

The diploma thesis Bon Repos and baroque monuments in surroundings of Lysá nad Labem deals with the area of Bon Repos and baroque monuments in surroundings of Lysá nad Labem that arose thanks to the benefactor Count Francis Anthony Spork. Unfortunately, most of the monuments no longer exist. The first part of this diploma thesis deals with the history of the town Lysá nad Labem and also with its monuments including the life of Count Spork. In the second part of the thesis we can find the detailed description of the ecclesiastical and the secular monuments in surroundings of Lysá nad Labem, which were built at the times during the Count Spork's life. The monuments' description was done according to the engravings and sources from the period of the first half of the 18th century. The third part of this thesis describes the area of Bon Repos which was built by Count Spork. In this part we can also find the history of the site and the description of its baroque form. Unfortunately, the site of Bon Repos was rebuilt by archbishop Prichovsky in the second half of the 18th century. It is for this reason that the description of the baroque site was done thanks to the engravings and sources from that period. It illustrates influence of sculptor Matyáš Bernard Braun on Pacák's sculpture production and describes his artistic development in town of Žireč, Žacléř, Polička and other places in the region.
